Ingredients
- 125 g flour
- 1 Tsp chili powder
- 1 Tsp salt
- 1 Tsp black pepper
- 1 Tsp paprika
- 1 Tsp garlic powder
- 20 chicken wings, drums and flats
- Sweet Honey Barbecue Seasoning
- 1/4cup honey (optional: for a sweeter taste)
Instructions
- First, preheat the oven to 220°C
- In a large bowl, combine the flour, salt, chili powder, paprika, black pepper and garlic powder.
- Coat the wings in the flour mixture evenly and shake off any excess.
- Place the wings on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper, align them in a single layer.
- Bake for 45 minutes and flip them over halfway through until it’s golden and crispy.
- In a separate bowl, mix the Honey Barbecue Seasoning with ketchup and add the honey if needed.
- Stir the cooked wings in the sauce and coat them evenly.
- Place the wings back onto the backing sheet and bake for another 5-8 minutes sauce is bubbling and has caramelized
- Cool then serve.
